She's easily AU'd into a lot of situations. The main points that carry over are:
-a rough past in an isolated part of the world where she was aiding with drug-related crimes, and a dangerous shift when her father was imprisoned and her uncle came into the picture.
-a bad breakdown after the death of her best friend (she'd rather die than go into details about this)
-a period of being alone and struggling with addiction
-finding an organization that got her back on her feet and gave her a goal

Most of her character growth after this point would be if she can establish herself as a person she can enjoy being, not just a doctor. That does exist more than she knows, but Friend is terrified that without an external moral compass, she will fall back into old habits.

Assumed CR is great; I tend to prefer to adapt this character to other's canons or fit them into a modern day world.
